Lainey was a Lady Bug, of course, and Barrett was a pirate. As we were walking there he was waving at the cars and saying, " Argh, I'm Captain Barrett!"




Both kids were worn out. Lainey fell asleep in the stroller.

Hiking

We have been doing a lot of walking lately. Tim has the joy of carrying Elaina when he is around.

Barrett has to have a walking stick.

This is how bad the drought is here. There are supposed to be 10 feet of water below that buoy!

Send in the Marines

We met up with Nana and Poppa this week in Virginia.

Poppa got to take us to the brand new Marine Corps museum

Barrett was VERY excited

This is one the actual helicopter that was in Poppa's squadron durning Vietnam

This explains why this specific helicopter was recovered.

It was a very moving experiance and made us even more greatful and aware that we are blessed that he made it home. We love you Poppa and are very proud of you.
