Elaina's new chairs. They a little vanity to go with them. All of them will be repainted to match her room when mommy finally has the time and energy!

I think she is practicing to be a shoe model because she already has a shoe fetish!

Ready for Fashion Week

I think Elaina is already for fashion week. She was walking back and forth
down her "runway" (the front entryway) and was even striking a pose at the end.
She got tired at the end and decided to take a break.

Birthdays

Our little Lainey Bug turned 1 this August

She got a toy box for her first birthday and had a grand time sitting in it.
She kept crawling in it and it is still hard to keep the toys in and her out!

Elaina, Nana and Mommy had tea on her first birthday. She was a perfect little lady and looked smashing in her birthday outfit from Mimi and Ddad.
We held their joint party on the day between their birthdays. Barrett was very particular on what he wanted for a cake: a red monster with tiny, little, bitty toes that is strawberry! For a some one who could usually careless he out in a tall order! We ended up opting to go the cupcake route. Elaina or Lainey Bug, as we have taken to calling her, well... I guess you can guess what she had on her cake! The bakery made her a special "smash" cake just for her. She loved it and was quite the little performer.

Barrett got a tricycle. He was really excited about it but has not figured it out quite yet.
His favorite part is the bell!Nana and Poppa came for the birthdays. It was so nice to have them there.Pat and Allen, our former RI neighbors came too.
Allen apparently avoided being in front of the camera!

Christie was able to come too. It was so nice to see her.
It had been WAY too long!
